Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
MarginMeter is developed and operated by Divine Life Ltd (“Divine Life Ltd”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information in connection with the MarginMeter service (the “Service”).
MarginMeter is currently in a pilot phase and is being made available to a limited number of Amazon FBA businesses prior to wider release. This policy will be reviewed and updated as the Service develops.
We collect the following categories of information:
MarginMeter connects to Amazon’s Selling Partner API using authorisation that you grant. We retrieve the categories of seller account data required for commercial analysis, which may include order and sales data, refunds, Amazon and FBA fee reports, advertising spend and performance data, inventory data, returns data, and seller-visible customer feedback relating to your products (such as return reason comments and product reviews visible to sellers).
MarginMeter does not require, and does not seek, access to Amazon buyer personally identifiable information (such as buyer names, delivery addresses or contact details) for its core commercial analysis. Where Amazon data made available to us incidentally includes such information, we do not use it for any purpose beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Service and we do not use it to build buyer profiles.
We access only the scopes and data types required to provide the commercial analysis features of MarginMeter, and access is granted and can be withdrawn by you through Amazon’s authorisation controls.
To calculate true SKU-level contribution and margin, you provide us with the landed cost of your products. This information is commercially sensitive and is used solely to perform the margin and contribution calculations that the Service provides to you. We do not sell, share or use this information to benchmark, compare or disclose your costs to any other party.
We use the information described above to:
We do not sell Amazon seller data, seller-provided cost data, or personal information to third parties.
We may share information with service providers who process data on our behalf strictly to help us operate the Service (for example, hosting and infrastructure providers described in Section 7), and who are bound by contractual obligations to protect that information and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, regulation, or a valid legal request from a competent authority.
The Service is hosted using third-party infrastructure and platform providers, which may include cloud hosting, database and application-delivery providers. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-processing terms. We select providers with the aim of maintaining appropriate technical safeguards, but we do not claim any specific security or compliance certification for the Service unless it has actually been obtained and independently verified.
We retain Amazon seller data, seller-provided cost data and account information for as long as is necessary to provide the Service to you and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or operational requirements. If you withdraw Amazon authorisation or ask us to close your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to authorised personnel who need it to operate and support the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any security certification, compliance certification, or specific encryption standard for the Service unless it has actually been implemented and independently verified.
Depending on your location, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, and the right to withdraw Amazon authorisation at any time through Amazon’s own authorisation controls. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12.
We may update this policy from time to time, including as the Service moves beyond its pilot phase. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify pilot users directly. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, please contact Divine Life Ltd at privacy@marginmeter.com.
